PENDUL
With the increase in employers in the UK offering at least one form of flexible working, there is now a distinct increase in the number of people working from home.
Pendul represents the mental shift between working from home and enjoying leisure time.
This product has three settings. When resting in the neutral position the light is inactive. Pushing down on the side with the closed lattice work turns on the light used for work. Pushing down on the side with the open lattice work turns on the light used for leisure.
Inside the light there are two circuits, both of which are activated by a tilt switch. The side that is used for work has two LEDs on its circuit. Combined with an open lattice work cover, it releases more light. In comparison, the leisure side of the light has a closed lattice work pattern with only one LED, so the light released is more ambient. There is a thin fabric cover on the inside of the light which defuses the harshness of light.
